COVID-19: Prevention measures

CFC News, Covid-19 News

Dear members,

Considering the current COVID-19 outbreak, Casablanca Finance City has put in place advanced guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.

The CFC First tower will therefore remain open with strict protocols for cleaning and disinfecting. We also kindly ask that all tenants encourage remote work whenever possible while keeping in mind that external visitors are only allowed on the basis of legal obligation or in the case of critical importance to your operations and activities.

Regarding all ongoing and upcoming administrative processes, the Ministry of Labor has declared that starting on March 19, 2020 all Taechir platforms will be suspending their service for foreign work visa applications for a duration of 15 days.

We would like to assure our expat community that these 15 days will not be deducted from the 90 days visa grace period in Morocco, expatriates will therefore not be deemed illegal.

These new measures mean, that all expiring documents will automatically get a period of extension but must be renewed as soon as activity returns to normal.

The CFC team will be working remotely and if necessary on site, and remain at your disposal to make sure all needs are met. Please fee free to reach out to us.

We will continue to regularly monitor the situation and keep our community updated with any significant development. Meanwhile, we strongly encourage our tenants and the general public to comply with the sanitary guidelines in order to keep everyone safe.

Sincerely,

The CFC team
