This morning, Z/Yen Group Limited held a private event to bring together representatives of international financial centers to discuss restarting economies, adjusting strategies, and renovating financial centers in the next decade.
Mrs Manal Bernoussi, Director of Strategy, Partnerships & Communication, took part in the conversation to share insights, from a Moroccan and African perspective, on the measures put in place to manage the Covid crisis and the priorities for CFC looking forward: “We think this crisis is and will change the way we do business for the coming years in Morocco, Africa and beyond. We will have to reinvent ourselves and pivot towards more sustainable, inclusive, and innovative growth trajectories. We will be targeting ways to foster the development of Fintechs, green & sustainable finance and SME financing”.
In his welcome note, The Lord Mayor Of The City Of London, Alderman William Russell stated “…it will be essential for us to work closer together from further away. As financial centers of excellence, we have a duty to help our respective governments use finance appropriately to address the different risks that the world faces.”
