The U.S.-Africa Business Summit Corporate Council on Africa was hosted this week in Marrakech by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA). The Summit brought together U.S. and African private sector executives, international investors, senior government, and multilateral stakeholders to explore a renewed commitment by both public and private sector to building stronger U.S.-Africa trade and investment ties.

Lamia MERZOUKI, deputy CEO at Casablanca Finance City, took part in Panel 1 under the theme ‘Leverage the strengths of the Morocco platform and its strategic role towards Africa’ alongside Mr Ali Seddiki, General Director of Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency – AMDIE, Abdou Souleye Diop, Partner, Mazars and Chair, Africa Committee at CGEM, Mehdi Jalil Drafate, Deputy Managing Director in charge of change of the “Project & Investment Financing Platform” at Bank Of Africa, Fatmi SQUALLI, Project Finance Director at Attijariwafa bank, and moderated by Tadlaoui Faiçal, where she highlighted Morocco’s strategic assets as a hub for Africa and emphasized the role of CFC in supporting US companies to develop their activities in the continent.
