Yesterday, the 2nd edition of the Sustainable Finance Summit was held by Finance Montréal, under the theme “Beyond Net-Zero: Finance as a Catalyst for Change”.
Lamia MERZOUKI, co-Chair UNDP Financial Centres for Sustainability (FC4S) & Deputy General Manager Casablanca Finance City, took part in the panel “Joining Forces to Build a Leading Sustainable Financial Sector”:
“Global security and energy concerns have placed the climate agenda under unprecedented strain. Now, more than ever, we need to develop global partnerships to support the transition to a more prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable economy. The Sustainable Finance Summit provides us with an excellent opportunity to advance the role of capital in combating climate change, as well as explore any potential challenges that these new transition pathways may bring.”
