Training courses: Casablanca Finance City Authority and Africa Business School combine to strengthen training offer

Casablanca Finance City Authority (CFCA) and Africa Busines School (ABS) of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) announced today the signing of a partnership agreement aimed at densifying and aligning to the best international standards the  » Offers training in Casablanca.

Through this partnership, the two institutions want to unite their efforts and coordinate their actions so that Casablanca becomes a platform of skills and expertise on the African continent.

The agreement includes the transfer of the Master of Science in Financial Engineering (MSFE), created and hitherto carried out by CFCA, to the UM6P. With this in mind, the launch of the third promotion of the MSFE in October 2016 will be carried out under the aegis of the Africa Business School of the UM6P.

In addition, the two institutions are committed to jointly develop programs to strengthen the training available in Casablanca. It is in this context that the Africa Business School has just launched in Casablanca a program of Executive MBA of high level in partnership with Columbia University of New York.

Speaking at the signing ceremony of the agreement, Hicham Zegrary, Director of Operations and Institutional Affairs of Casablanca Finance City Authority, said: « This partnership perfectly fits CFC’s ambition to endow the place Casablanca, an important pool of highly qualified human resources « . Abdellatif Charafi, head of the Africa Business School, said: « This collaboration will help to foster the emergence of high-caliber managers and African leaders who will contribute to the continent’s economic transformation and the weather « .

Casablanca Finance City Authority (CFCA) et l’Africa Busines School (ABS) de l’Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique (UM6P) ont annoncé aujourd’hui la signature d’une convention de partenariat visant à densifier et aligner aux meilleurs standards internationaux l’offre de formation à Casablanca.

A travers ce partenariat, les deux institutions souhaitent unir leurs efforts et coordonner leurs actions afin que Casablanca devienne une plateforme de compétences et d’expertise au niveau du continent africain.

La convention prévoit notamment le transfert du Master of Science in Financial Engineering (MSFE), créé et porté jusque-là par CFCA, à l’UM6P. Dans cette perspective, le lancement de la troisième promotion du MSFE en octobre 2016 se fera sous l’égide de l’Africa Business School de l’UM6P.

Par ailleurs, les deux institutions se sont engagées pour développer conjointement des programmes visant à renforcer l’offre de formation disponible à Casablanca. C’est dans ce cadre que l’Africa Business School vient de démarrer à Casablanca un programme d’Executive MBA de haut niveau en partenariat avec l’Université Columbia de New York.

S’exprimant à l’occasion de la cérémonie de signature de cette convention, M. Hicham Zegrary, Directeur des Opérations et Affaires Institutionnelles de Casablanca Finance City Authority, a affirmé que « ce partenariat épouse parfaitement l’ambition de CFC de doter la place financière de Casablanca d’un vivier important de ressources humaines hautement qualifiées ».

De son côté, M. Abdellatif Charafi, Responsable de l’Africa Business School, a affirmé que « cette collaboration permettra de favoriser l’émergence de managers de haut calibre et de leaders africains qui contribueront à la transformation économique du continent et la pérenniseront dans le temps ».
