Casablanca Sustainable Finance Dialogue (CSFD) will be held on October 21st, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency hotel, Casablanca.

This conference has been timed to coincide with a moment when Morocco will be at the center of discussions on the future of global finance. Both the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC) and the UNDP Financial Centers for Sustainability Network (FC4S) will be holding their annual meeting in Morocco just before CSFD kicks off.
Highlighting the key role of international financial centers as critical nodes mainstreaming
sustainable finance will be at the heart of discussions at the conference. CSFD will also
showcase opportunities, challenges and desired outcomes of COP 27 globally, and for the African continent specifically.

We will be joined by thought leaders and renowned experts in their field:

On the sidelines of the CSFD, WAIFC awarded four young scholars for their scientific papers. The 1st prize was awarded to Tristan Caballero-Montes of the Centre Européen de Recherche en Microfinance-Belgium for his study on the integration of market conditions into regulatory decisions on microfinance interest rates. The 2nd prize was awarded ex aequo to Harshini Moonisamy (Mauritius) for her paper on the market reaction to the release of environmental, social and governance reports and Paul P. Momtaz (Germany) for his research on the financing of sustainable entrepreneurship through public token offerings. The young Frenchman Victor Saint-Jean won the 3rd prize for his study on divestment, activism, and corporate social responsibility.
