FundForum Africa 2015 was held in London from June 22 to 24, attracting over 55 asset management experts. Representatives from Casablanca Finance City Authority attended the conference to share their perspective and present investment opportunities in Africa.

The three-day event kicked off with a pre-conference summit, “Unlocking Alpha in African Markets”, a masterclass focusing on the need to integrate long-term vehicles and strategies on African markets. The first talk at the conference, “Macro Invest Strategy for Africa”, provided the opportunity to highlight Casablanca’s position as a key financial market offering the ideal environment for asset management firms operating in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region. The last debate, “The African Fund Management Business”, featured a high-level panel made up of numerous CEOs from companies such as Altree Capital and Alquity.

At FundForum Africa 2015, Casablanca Finance City Authority representatives leveraged the opportunity to meet and discuss with various fund managers, especially at the networking events (CEO Closed Door Networking, Exclusive Investor Breakfast). By attending this event, the CFCA moved a step forward in its strategy to reinforce the position of Casablanca Finance City as a leading economic and financial hub in Africa.
