Egypt dispatches anti-coronavirus medical aid to South Sudan

Egypt sent a military plane loaded with medical supplies and medicines to South Sudan to help the African state with its battle against COVID-19. The medical aid was sent under instructions of the Egyptian president to show solidarity with South Sudan.

As of May 18th, Egypt, the most populous Arab state, confirmed a total of 12.764 COVID-19 cases including 645 deaths, while South Sudan reported 347 cases with a death toll of 6.
