The event will feature a keynote presentation by PwC in Morocco, followed by a panel discussion, to reflect on the results of the Africa Business Agenda, highlighting the findings of PwC’s 24th Annual Global CEO Survey of 50 CEOs from 14 African countries.
Below is a sneak peak of the findings that will be shared during the webinar:
• 68% of CEOs in Africa are more optimistic about the strength of the global economy
• 54% of CEOs in Africa (Global: 47%) say they are extremely concerned about cybersecurity, up significantly from 38% last year. This response is likely influenced by the increase in high-visibility cyberattacks during 2020 and the normalisation of remote working in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has exposed many systems to attack.
• 42% of CEOs in Africa are very confident about their revenue growth prospects over three years
• 30% of CEOs in Africa are very confident about their company’s growth prospects in the next 12 months (vs 36% of global CEOs)
