The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) significantly expanded its activities this month through the signing of major framework agreements. In Burkina Faso, a US$1 billion financing facility, spread over five years, was approved to support: agriculture; energy; healthcare; private-sector development, including cotton production and refined petroleum imports.
