The Moroccan government has implemented a collection of urgent economic, financial and social measures, including mandatory mask wearing when in public, to help prevent and control the negative impacts of the COVID-19.
A special fund as been created, entitled “Special Fund for the Management of the Coronavirus Pandemic”.
Endowed with 10 billion MAD, this fund will be reserved, on the one hand, to cover the costs of upgrading medical equipment and facilities and, on the other hand, to support the national economy by targetting the most at risk sectors.
