Manal Bernoussi, Director of Strategy, Partnerships & Communications was in Madrid to take part in the COP25‘s official side event on Green & Sustainable Finance. The panel discussion was about presenting regional point of views from Latin America, Europe and Africa. Ms Bernoussi highlighted: “the fight to preserve the climate is a critical issue for the African continent. Of the 10 countries in the world considered most threatened by climate change, 7 are African. Financial centers are key locations that can help scale up the finance required to implement the Paris Agreement and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.” The panel discussion was moderated by Mr Karsten Löffler, co head of the Green and Sustainable Finance Cluster Germany.
