Djibouti backtracks on decision to ease coronavirus lockdown measures

Djibouti, the nation with the highest prevalence of coronavirus on the continent (1,189 positive cases for a population of 1 million inhabitants), has delayed plans to begin lifting lockdown measures.

The government has decided to extend lockdown by another week, through until 17 May and the borders are not set to open except for humanitarian personnel.
