Facebook announced plans for a new office in Lagos in the coming year. The division will host teams specialized in engineering, sales, politics, and communications and will be Facebook’s second office in Africa after Johannesburg.
Facebook hopes to develop products made by Africans, for Africans and its regional investments in infrastructures and connectivity could generate over 57 B$ for the local economies over the next 5 years
