The EIB invests €40m in climate infrastructure

The European Investment Bank is investing €40 million in Acre Export Finance Fund I. This facility of the investment company Acre Impact Capital will reinvest the funds in climate infrastructure in Africa. Acre’s investment company Impact Capital intends to use its fund to reduce the infrastructure investment deficit in Africa, estimated at $100 billion a year. The current credit environment creates attractive opportunities for savvy investors, while addressing the urgent need to finance critical infrastructure projects.
