Why African nations doubt OECD tax plan

Global minimum tax is supposed to bring tax justice. But less than half of African countries are on board: Only 23 African nations among 136 countries worldwide are taking part in the reform project, including South Africa, Senegal, and Egypt. Kenya and Nigeria have backed out amid uncertainty over how much it would benefit poor countries. The project details are finalized but calls are growing to find a cheaper alternative for African nations.
